The focus of the business has been Gudebrod thread, and Fuji Guides, primarily established to combat the limited supply and high prices for thread and guides  from our local market.

We decided there was a real need for these supplies to keep the art of rod building alive and also to help repair that favourite rod.  

Gudebrod thread has been the best rod wrapping thread for many years and sadly for many rod builders this US company has closed its doors back in 2009.

 We have secured a large lot of the last popular colours to ensure our customers can still obtain this thread for a few years to come.

Most of the rod building supply is Fuji, this is due to one reason "Quality". We have a few oddments of other brands as well but we don't re-stock these.

We have rod guides, reel seats, guide tips, tops and now some original Fuji hot melt glue..

We have moved into Fishing Line, in a range of brands mainly braided line Berkley Fireline, Shimano Power Pro, we also have a selection of Sufix, Maxima, Stren and Mustad for those that prefer monofilament and a small selection of fluorocarbon.

We also have Mustad and Gamakatsu Hooks and this collection that we have built is quite varied, we have a lot of the vintage and new hooks. Circle hooks for Tuna, big hooks for offshore fishing, Snapper fishing hooks, down to the every day estuarine and river fishing hooks.

Rapala lures are also stocked, and have lots of variety.
